I believe dental care should be tailored to each person individually. Providing quality care is my number one goal. I also think patients deserve personalized attention, so they can have an active role in determining their course; this involves presenting options for treatment so that anyone can make an informed decision regarding treatment options and possible outcomes.
Our dental health is closely connected to our overall health. Education and Continuing Education
Before becoming a dentist, I graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center as a dental hygienist. After several years in the dental field, I knew I wanted to do more for my patients, so I went back and completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Through my education and career thus far, I have learned that individualized patient care and quality dentistry go hand in hand. I strive to provide gentle care to my patients while ensuring that I keep them informed every step of the way.
Being aware of and educated in the most recent advances in dentistry and dental technology is imperative to providing exceptional care to patients. Because of this, I attend multiple hours of continuing education courses each year. Continual development of my education helps me keep my patients comfortable while producing beautiful results.

When I am not working with patients, I’m spending time with my husband and two boys. One of my most favorite things to do is watching my sons play baseball. I also enjoy reading, running, doing yoga to stay mentally and physically healthy.

As the years progress, my passion for dentistry increases. Serving patients and being able to alleviate their discomfort or address their concerns is what drives me to be a progressive dentist and to consistently better myself. The commitment I made from the moment I opened my practice will always stand; besides my family, my patients are the priority. It’s important to educate my patients and work together with them to achieve their oral health goals, ultimately leading to better overall health. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and my Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. The years of education has given me the ability to perform the highest quality of care possible for our patients.
My education continues today with discovering the latest dental technology and techniques dental engineers have to provide. In any dental procedure I do, my promise is to provide gentle and compassionate treatment. Many of my patients have referred to me as an artist; it has a beautiful and lasting result!

When I’m not with patients, I enjoy maintaining an active style. Exercising and eating healthy are important to me. Discovering insightful books and traveling are hobbies I’ll always find enjoyable; however, spending time with my wife and our three children is the absolute greatest part of any day for me!

I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare because my parents were both in healthcare while growing up.
My father is an Emergency Pediatrician, and my mother is a NICU nurse. It wasn’t until college that I realized I cherished patient interaction. Also, I loved having the ability to help others be healthy every single day. I chose dentistry because I can help my patients with their dental health, and I can get to know each one of them on a more personal level. It makes my job as a dentist so rewarding when we provide comfortable, high-quality dentistry to all of our patients.

My wife and I are expecting our first child this coming August (2019), and we couldn’t be happier! I love spending time with my wife and (son/daughter), cooking as a family, playing basketball, cheering on anything and everything Huskers, and listening to my collection of vinyl records in my man cave. I love to laugh hard and often!
